ACMobility, Basic Energy partner to boost EV charging for public transport
MANILA, PHILIPPINES (JULY 6, 2026) - ACMobility, the Ayala Group's end-to-end mobility platform and leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has partnered with energy and transport solutions provider Basic Energy Corporation to build EV infrastructure that supports the growing fleet or electric public transport across the country.
The partnership is in line with Basic Energy Corporation's Iwas Taas Pamasahe Transport Solutions Program, which empowers local transport operations to transition to sustainable electric mobility and protect commuters from rising transit costs amid fluctuating fuel prices. Under the program, transport groups can use electric buses with zero upfront costs and can own the vehicles after five years.
"Our transition to electric mobility can only be complete if we also electrify public transport. Through our partnership with Basic Energy, we are building an EV charging network that powers not just private vehicles but also public transportation fleets from North to South. This is at the core of ACMobility's mission to build a comprehensive electric mobility system in the Philippines," said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure at ACMobility.
"Our partnership with ACMobility is a vital component of Basic Energy's mission to provide sustainable and accessible transport solutions for Filipinos," said Basic Energy President and CEO Oscar De Venecia Jr. "The rollout of EV charging infrastructure across our Total and EcoOil network strengthens the foundation needed to support the growing shift to electric public transport."
The collaboration between ACMobility and Basic Energy plays a key role in the program as it will help modernize public transport through the deployment of the Love E-Bus fleet.
To ensure reliable operations and uptime of newly deployed E-buses, ACMobility will develop EV charging hubs along key routes that can cater to electric buses for public transport along with private vehicles.
The next charging hub under the partnership will rise at the Total station on the northbound side of the South Luzon Expressway. This site will feature a versatile mix of chargers, including high-speed DC fast chargers for rapid turnaround and AC chargers for longer-stay charging needs.
The partners are exploring several other strategic locations. These include sites in Mandaluyong City, Cainta, Barangka in Marikina, and along Sumulong Highway, which will improve charging across high-density commuter routes in eastern Metro Manila. Strategic corridors are also being strengthened, with planned installations in E. Rodriguez and Visayas Avenue in Quezon City, Newport City in Pasay City, and along EDSA, one of the metro's busiest avenues.
Basic Energy and ACMobility earlier partnered to open EV charging hubs in EcoOil Alabang and the Total station on the North Luzon Expressway.

Business, Uninterrupted: ACMobility’s Power-on-Wheels Supports Enterprise Charging Needs
Manila, Philippines (July 2, 2026) - ACMobility, the Ayala Group's end-to-end mobility platform and leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions in the county, is expanding its mobile charging solution Power-on-Wheels (POW) to support enterprise mobility requirements.
As electric vehicle adoption continues to accelerate in the country, more businesses are also beginning to electrify their fleet operations. This is driven by increasing demand, evolving sustainability goals, and the need for more efficient mobility. However many businesses that have shifted to EVs still face limited access to reliable charging infrastructure for their operations.
ACMobility's POW supports the transition to electric mobility by addressing infrastructure barriers. It provides on-demand charging directly to fleets, depots, offices, and events, helping businesses maintain productivity and operational efficiency without being limited to fixed charging locations.
Through its mobile and location-based charging capability, POW enables enterprises to accelerate their transition to electric mobility while ensuring uninterrupted operations.
"With Power-on-Wheels, we are extending EV charging beyond fixed infrastructure to meet businesses where they operate," said Carla Buencamino, Head of Mobility Infrastructure of ACMobility. "This enables a more flexible and resilient charging ecosystem that supports the operational realities of enterprise mobility today, and sets up businesses for success in the future."
Through a fully mobile and scalable model, POW supports a wide range of enterprise use cases across different sectors:
Residential and Condominium Developers: EV charging access for residents and their guests
Offices and Commercial Buildings: Convenient charging for tenants, employees, and visitors
Fleet Operators: Consistent vehicle uptime and operational efficiency through scheduled or on-site charging
Customer-Facing Business (dealerships, retail spaces, and activations): Temporary or event-based charging to enhance customer experience and support EV visibility on the ground
Through POW, ACMobility brings EV chargers straight to businesses for immediate use-no big spend or builds needed. Businesses can choose between monthly or annual contracts depending on their needs. They also get a dedicated mobile coordinator and emergency roadside assistance to address charging concerns.
POW caters to both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and select plug-in hybrids and supports DC fast charging. Units have a capacity of up to 120kWh, and are compatible with a CCS2 or GB/T plug.
POW's business solutions are now available to enterprises in Metro Manila, parts of Southern Luzon including Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal, and Bulacan and Pampanga in Northern Luzon.

ACMobility to build EV charging stations in Robinsons Land properties
MANILA, PHILIPPINES (May 19, 2026) – ACMobility has partnered with Robinsons Land Corporation to make electric vehicle (EV) charging more accessible, building EV charging stations (EVCS) in several Robinsons Land properties across the country starting this year.
As part of GoCharge, Robinsons Land’s EV charging initiative, ACMobility is providing its full array of EV charging infrastructure across all RLC verticals, bringing electric mobility closer to where people live, work and play.
Under the partnership, ACMobility is looking to build 200+ charge points in several RLC properties, including residential buildings, offices, hotels, and estates. This rollout will make EV charging accessible in more locations in Metro Manila and nearby Tagaytay, as well as key locations in Tuguegarao, Tarlac, Bicol, Palawan, Bacolod, Cebu, and Iloilo.
“Our partnership comes at such a pivotal time. There is clear intent among Filipinos to shift to EVs. This is why at ACMobility, we’re hard at work building the Philippine EV Spine. With more charging points available from Pagudpud in the north to Pagadian in the south, we will enable worry-free EV-powered drives,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, ACMobility CEO.
“Robinsons Land has always believed in creating developments that are ready for the future and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve,” said Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Robinsons Land Corporation. “Through GoCharge and our partnership with ACMobility, we are helping make sustainable mobility more practical and within reach while creating long-term value across our properties.”
ACMobility’s partnership with RLC marks its first major collaboration with a mixed-use developer on a nationwide scale.
It signifies a big step forward in ACMobility’s efforts to build the Philippine EV Spine, which aims to accelerate the country’s EV shift by making EV charging accessible to more Filipinos.
As of April 2026, ACMobility, the country’s leading provider of end-to-end electric mobility solutions, has built EV charging infrastructure in over 200 locations across the country.
