DC (Direct Current) charging, often referred to as fast or rapid charging, is a crucial component of the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. How DC Charging Works
In DC charging, the conversion from AC (from the grid) to DC is done outside the vehicle in the charging station itself. This direct delivery of DC power to the battery allows for much higher power levels—often between 30 kW and 350 kW—resulting in rapid recharging, sometimes in as little as 20–30 minutes depending on the vehicle and charger capabilities. Equipped with 1000-amp air-cooled cables, the system is engineered for both efficiency and scalability.
